Preparation for class

I need you to go back and review "ghayn" for class on Wednesday. Read the manner of production, in addition to using the alphabet chart to watch, listen and practice saying it. Then go back to "raa" and do the same to contrast the two. Unless you do that, you will always have a problem with these and other sounds that are difficult for you to produce. We can go back and practice in class over and over, but that will never suffice.

For class on Thursday,

I need you to go over تمرين 3, and familiarize yourselves with how to translate it. That way when we do it in class, we don't take too long. Make sure you know your new المفردات. We will also be doing تمرين 6 in class. In order for you to memorize the verb chart on page 149, you must know how to conjugate Kaana كان. Please go back and read that section if you don't feel very sure about it.
