No class today
Dear students,
I am so sorry to be canceling class this late. I've been waiting to see if there was going to be any change in the weather. But I just talked to another professor at UNH, and she strongly advised me against coming.
One reason for my hesitation to cancel, was my guilt feeling about having missed all these classes. I just wanted you to know, that if you can figure out some time in your schedules to meet extra time, just for a while, on T, W, or Th, I will be happy to do that. Think it over, and we can talk about that tomorrow.
Those of you that have the class e-mail list, please do everyone a favor and tell them there's no class today.
I'll see you tomorrow.

I'm feeling optimistic
A'izza'ee Al-Tullab,
It sure has been a taxing couple of weeks for me, both physically and mentally. My brother, sister and I, along with our mom and beloved families held a very wonderful and moving memorial service for our dear father at my house. This was one of very many that were held, both throughout many parts of his homeland, Iraq, as well as in other parts of the world.
Today, and in anticipation of coming back to teaching you, I'm spending a good deal of time to prepare your lesson plans.
As you've learned from the last two weeks, it is imperative to always consult this site for announcements on regular basis.
As of now, and if things out of the ordinary don't interfere in the way things are going, I will be seeing you tomorrow. I look forward to that.

Ruwa's latest health report

Well, my head still feels full, my ears still feel full, the sneezing, coughing, nose blowing (yuck) are all alive and well. It's not a pretty picture. Trust me, you don't want to be around me yet, nor do you want to catch this monster of a virus.
So in the hopes that this will be the last time, for a while, that I will have to cancel our class, we will skip today.
I look forward to a fresh start with you on Tuesday, Inshaa' Allah.
In the meanwhile, keep studying on your own, so that at least the material will be familiar when we cover it together, and keep taking those immune system boosters you were advising me to take.

My dear students,
We buried my dear dad yesterday, and this accursed virus is slowly beginning to leave my body. My sincere hope is to be strong enough to be with you tomorrow, Thursday. But please, check this site, as you always should, before coming to class.

I also hope that you will spend the next few days, if you haven't already, reviewing and looking ahead in your textbook , so as not to be too rusty when we reconvene. I expect that I will pick up where we left off, and move on, full speed, into what's next. So it would be helpful, to yourselves as well as to me, if you prepared.
